Straight Orthodontics is proud to participate in the Give a Smile program!
Give a Smile™ (GAS) is a valuable public health initiative established by the ASO.
Give a Smile™ members treat patients from public orthodontic waiting lists across Australia pro bono. Give a Smile™ recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary!
GAS means hundreds of children in lower income families for whom professional orthodontic treatment would otherwise be out of reach are treated in private practices and are removed from public health waiting lists. At present there are more than 350 Give a Smile orthodontists right across Australia – from Bunbury to Cairns and in between – offering their unique skills to children in need.
The impressive support level of more than 65 per cent of all ASO orthodontists has resulted in a massive 10 per cent reduction in public orthodontic waiting lists nationally.
